故事起點始於一個謎團

葛利夫・卡林斯--男主角亞修的哥哥--在美國越戰時期，突然失去自我意識般地舉槍掃射自己的同伴

在被阻止之後的葛利夫突然說出了「Banana Fish」

而後便失去了意識，只是偶爾喃喃著 Banana Fish...

男主角--亞修，為了知道究竟發生了甚麼並拯救自己的哥哥

踏上了調查之路....

這是第一部我無法在一天之內看超過2集的動漫

常常看完1集後的我就會陷入一種難以言喻的空洞

即便知道那只是動畫，仍舊會因為故事帶來的衝擊而感到悲痛

有時是悄悄落淚，有時是無法自拔的嚎啕大哭

隨著1集的結束，心就彷彿被掏空般

這也是第一部我非常喜歡，但卻無法與任何人都分享的動漫

歌曲前面以第一人稱緩緩道出內心想與英二待在一起的渴望

中間以嘶吼的方式表現出現歷經危難後的擔憂和陷入是否留在英二的身邊或是為了保護他而離去的掙扎

最後以呢喃的方式傳達心中的不捨、哀傷
